- Take the Interstate 5 freeway
- Exit La Jolla Village Drive
- Head west on La Jolla Village Drive
- Turn right at the first light past the freeway on Villa La Jolla Drive
- Turn right at the second light on Gilman Drive
- Turn left at the stop sign on to Voigt Drive
- At the intersection past Canyonview Pool, turn right (still on Voigt Drive)
- Continue on Voigt Drive, and then turn right into parking lot P502.
Hopkins parking structute (alternative parking) Map
1. Take I-5
2. Exit Genessee Avenue
3. Head West (From the I-5 North, it would be a left turn;
I-5 south would be a right merge)
4. Turn Left @ North Torrey Pines Road
5. Turn Left @ Northpoint Drive
6. Continue on Northpoint Drive
Northpoint Drive turns into Hopkins Drive
7. Entrance to the parking structure is on the right
after the second stop sign
Parking
During weekends, you may park on the UCSD campus without charge in any A, B, S, or metered space except where these signs are posted:
* "A" permit required 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
* Disabled (See Parking with Disabled Person Placards or License Plates.)
* UC vehicles only
* Service yard
* Loading zone
* Reserved
* Special event reserved
During weekdays, you need a parking permit that may be purchased for $8 a day at several locations [link].
